The next InfraGard Memphis Members Alliance chapter meeting will be held on Tuesday, December 8, from 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM at the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office Operations Center, 994 S. Bellevue Blvd.
Steve Rutledge, US Coast Guard, Memphis will give the intel brief.
Our guest speaker, Bryan Underwood, SSA, Memphis Division, FBI, will discuss the four subprograms covered by the FBI Civil Rights Investigative Programs: 1) Color of Law, 2) Hate Crimes, 3) Human Trafficking,and 4) FACE Act (Freedom of Access to Clinics) matters. He will also provide pamphlets outlining the material.
Bryan Underwood graduated from David Lipscomb University in Nashville in 1987 with a B.A. in Political Science. He received a Juris Doctorate from the University of Alabama School of Law in 1990. In July, 1990, he entered on duty with the FBI. Since that time, he has served in the following FBI Field Divisions: Kansas City, St. Louis, and Memphis. Bryan also served as a Supervisor at FBI Headquarters in Washington, DC, for three years. As a case agent, Bryan has investigated drug crimes, interstate theft, fraud against the government, gang crimes, and public corruption. One of the highlights of his career was the opportunity to assist in the investigation of the bombing of the Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City in 1995. Bryan is currently assigned as a Supervisory Special Agent in the Memphis Division where he oversees all Civil Rights Investigations.
